Baby crazy
My babies are now 11 and 15, so this list won’t work for them, but my friends are now starting to have grand babies. For baby showers, there are always clothes, diapers, and wipes. I like to give things that not everyone will think of. I hope this works well for someone.
One of my favorite gifts to give a mom to be is the Gerber baby colic drops. Colic can hit hard. When my oldest was a baby, I used to call 5 pm the hour the devil came out. He was so fussy! He’s still fussy now, but it’s more grunting and eye rolling. You can see the link here:
Another fun gift is a plush warmy. These are stuffed animals that can be heated up. Babies sleep better with a little weight and warmth. It’s a bonus that they’re so cute! I linked the elephant because he’s just so cute!
Another newer addition to mommying is the baby seat carrier. This is an easy way to carry your baby (after they are strong enough to hold their head up and sit up). Babies can hold on well, and I’ve been told it is easy to breastfeed them with this too (perfect height). I wouldn’t know. I had my babies before there was color on Earth, and trying to breast feed them, or really even hold them on my hip, now could get awkward.
If you would like to hate your life while your baby is teething, get Sofia the giraffe. This squeaky toy is amazing for nibbling on while teething…
But if you ever find yourself tiptoeing out of your child’s room after you FINALLY got them to sleep, and you have Sofia on the floor, and you accidentally step on the dumb giraffe, you might as well have stepped on a landmine. That squeak goes on a long long time when you slowly lift up your foot.
Good luck with that one!
It’s cute! Buy it! It’s always nice to have a white elephant gift lying around the house…
This teether is actually a good one that my niece uses for her cutesy patooty. She loves it, and it’s easy to clean (or if you’re on child number three, to blow off any visible dirt and hand back to them)…
